Madison Utilities will be installing a new large-diameter transmission water main along Wall Triana, from Highway 72 to Gillespie Road.

The project will require some lane closures and large amounts of tree clearing along the route. While we are taking steps to minimize traffic disruptions and landscape impacts, some inconveniences are unavoidable. We appreciate your patience and awareness as construction progresses. MU is committed to completing the project efficiently and restoring normal traffic flow as quickly as possible.

Madison Utilities will be accepting sealed bids for the Rebid of the Griffin 5,000,000 Gallon Water Storage Tank Krebs Project 23029.02. Bid information can be found here.

Drive Through Hours will be: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Beginning on Dec 17, 2024, at 7:00 PM, Madison Utilities’ customers north of Gillespie Rd east of Hughes Rd to Hwy 72 may experience low water pressure. Madison Utilities is conducting necessary system improvements in the area. The water pressure should return to normal as soon as the work is done. If you experience low pressure during this time, please be patient. If you do not have any water pressure, please contact Madison Utilities. Work should be completed by 7:00 AM Dec 18, 2024. Thank you for your patience during this time as we continue to improve services to our customers.

The reconditioning of the Cedar Acres Tank is underway. The final step of the project will include repainting the tank and adding the Madison Utilities logo. The expected completion will be mid-October.
