- Water Manager ($92,000 to $160,000)
- Job summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Water System Manager to join Madison Utilities in Madison, AL, US. As Water System Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and reliable treatment and delivery of water to our customers, while ensuring compliance with government regulations. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies for water system management, monitoring of the water system, and responding to customer inquiries. You will lead a team of water system personnel and design, plan, and implement water system improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of water systems operations and maintenance, is a strategic thinker and problem solver, and is an excellent communicator. - Water Plant Operator ($67,158 to $111,537)
- Job summary: Under limited supervision, the employee performs daily operation, testing and maintenance of water treatment plants. Responsible for proper operation of water plant when Chief Operator is absent or as otherwise directed. Maintain daily operational records for water treatment plants, wells, and stations. Ensure water supplied to customers is of adequate quality and quantity. MUST have ADEM Water Grade IV Certification.
